Defenders building the tool we always wished we had.
Robo8 was founded on a simple frustration: security teams are drowning in alerts while the actual decisions — the ones that need human judgement — get buried. We build AI that does the routine work, transparently, and always leaves a person in command.
Our mission
Make autonomous cyber defense trustworthy — powerful enough to matter, restrained enough to deploy, and transparent enough to audit.
Human-in-command
Automation should remove toil, not accountability. Every consequential action ties back to a named, authenticated decision-maker.
Explainable by default
If you can't see why the agent decided something, you can't trust it. Every verdict carries its evidence and reasoning.
Open & vendor-neutral
Security shouldn't be locked to one vendor's stack. Robo8 runs local-first and integrates with the tools you already have.
What we believe
- A false negative is worse than a false positive. When the model and the rules disagree, we escalate — the agent can add a detection but never silently drop one.
- Defense only. We build protection. Robo8 performs no offensive action.
- Privacy is a feature. Your telemetry can stay on your own infrastructure; local models mean sensitive data need never leave the building.
- Trust is earned in the audit log. Everything the agent does is recorded and reviewable.
